70-Year-Old Man Dies in Fatal Three-Car Accident on 3rd Avenue in Hesperia

HESPERIA, CA (April 27, 2021) – Wednesday afternoon, 70-year-old Jerry Lyon Sr. was killed in a fatal multi-car crash on 7th Street.

The tragedy happened around 4:31 p.m., on April 21. Emergency crews arrived at the intersection of 7th Street and 3rd Avenue shortly after.

According to reports, the Hesperia man was driving along the intersection when he collided with two other vehicles for reasons still not known.

Due to the impact of the crash, Jerry Lyon Sr. suffered major injuries. First responders took him to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, there were no reports about the condition of the other drivers involved.

At this time, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the fatal crash.
