33-Year-Old Man Killed in Pickup-Truck Collision on 43rd Avenue

PHOENIX, AZ (October 5, 2022) – Saturday morning, Jeromy Ellis was killed in a rollover accident on Thomas Road.

The fatal crash happened around 3:00 a.m., near 43rd Avenue on October 1st.

According to police, 33-year-old Ellis was driving his pickup-truck at high rate of speed and lost control. Ellis then struck the center median, causing the pickup-truck to overturn.

Upon impact, Ellis was ejected from the pickup-truck onto the road. Medics arrived and transported Ellis to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.

Meanwhile, the cause of the crash was not yet determined and further investigation is ongoing.
