Jenny Lewis graced the Orpheum stage in downtown Los Angeles on October 30 with soaring vocals (and a band to kill for) that had me thinking about the great female voices in American history. Patsy Cline comes to mind first. While she played the opening number “Rabbit Fur Coat” with only�acoustic�guitar, some dude shouted, “The Female Bob Dylan!” That may not be all wrong, but as far as I'm concerned, she'll always be Jenny Lewis to me. �
