E-Bike Crash on San Juan Creek Trail Kills 36-Year-Old Jennifer Macy and Injured her Two Children

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (October 4, 2021) Jennifer Macy, 36, died and her two children sustained injuries Saturday after an e-bike crash on San Juan Creek Trail.

The tragic accident happened 8:30 p.m., September 25, along the San Juan Creek Trail.

According to the CHP, the woman was biking with two young children when they crashed and fell off onto nearby rocks. Unfortunately, the mother died while her two children sustained injuries.

Officers identified the woman as 36-year-old Jennifer Macy.

Authorities did not release any additional information at this time. However, the cause of the accident and factors involved remain under investigation.
