20-Year-Old Driver Arrested after Killing James Marsh in DUI Crash near Panther Drive

RENO, NV (May 27, 2021) – 20-year-old Jennifer Dietsch was arrested Tuesday morning after a fatal hit-and-run accident on Highway 395.

The accident happened just after 6:30 a.m. May 18th, on the southbound lanes near the Panther Drive off-ramp.

According to reports, 20-year old Dietsch was driving a VW Beetle. For reasons not yet known, she struck a Ford Explorer driven by 44-year-old James Marsh, of Reno.

The Ford then veered off the ramp and rolled, throwing Marsh from the vehicle. Investigators say he was not wearing a seat belt at the time.

Following the collision, Jennifer Dietsch fled the scene. However, she was later arrested with multiple charges including felony hit-and-run and DUI.

At this time, police did not disclose any additional information about the victim. However, once available more information will be released.
