Dennis RomeroDespite reports that an overdose put him in a coma before his untimely death in L.A. today, TMZ reports that Grease star Jeff Conaway did not die of an O.D.
Dr. Drew Pinsky tells the site that Conaway, also a cast member of TV's Taxi, succumbed to “overwhelming pneumonia and sepsis” following long-term prescription drug use.
While it wasn't a sudden overdose, Drew still blames drugs, saying …
… “Jeff is another pharmaceutical death from the overutilization of prescription drugs.”

He died at the age of 60 at Encino Hospital Medical Center, according to the Los Angeles Times.
