31-Year-Old Woman Died After Being Hit on Highway 99 in Fresno[CA]

Fresno, CA ( August 10, 2021 ) – Saturday morning, Jeanette Ward, 31, died after a DUI crash in Fresno.

The crash took place just after 1:30 a.m. on northbound lanes of Highway 99 near Clinton Avenue, as stated by the report.

According to the authorities, Ward was running across a busy highway when she got struck by an allegedly drunk driver, causing her death.

Investigators are still attempting to determine why she rushed out onto the roadway.

The motorist who was involved in the accident remained on the site and was discovered to be driving under the influence.

That driver was arrested for DUI, but he is not being prosecuted in Ward’s death.

According to investigators, this is due to the fact that the driver was not at fault in the fatal collision.

No words can mend the broken hearts and sorrow felt during this delicate moment. Our deepest condolences and sympathies are with the family and friends of Jeanette Ward.
