52-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies after a Vehicle Collision on Bell Road

PHOENIX, AZ (February 27, 2023) – Saturday night, a motorcycle crash near Cave Creek Road claimed the life of Jay Dils.

The incident happened on February 18th, at around 7:15 p.m., near the intersection of Cave Creek Road and Bell Road.

According to reports, Dils was riding his motorcycle in the area when a vehicle made a turn in front of him. Dils was not able to avoid the vehicle in time and collided with it. The impact of the collision left Dils with serious injuries.

First responders to the crash transported Dils to a local hospital for treatment. However, despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced 52-year-old Jay Dils dead, due to the extent of his condition.

Following the collision, the driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
