Javier Ambriz Aguilar Dies, One Hospitalized after Deadly Collision in Los Angeles
AGUA DULCE, CA (April 20, 2021) – A car crash near the 12600 block on Sierra Highway tragically claimed the life of Javier Ambriz Aguilar.
Los Angeles Police say the deadly accident occurred around 6:10 a.m. Emergency crews arrived to the area shortly after.
The events leading up to the collision remain unclear. However, reports indicate that one person was extricated from the severely damaged vehicle.
In addition, the extricated occupant was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment of critical injuries. Authorities have not yet released their identity.
Aguilar was also taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Medics later pronounced him dead due to the extent of injuries sustained.
The surrounding area on Sierra Highway was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary investigation. But, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
