Because we still have room for ramen in this city, it looks like we'll have at least one more noodle shop to add before the sky falls, the zombies attack and 2012 is over: Japanese chain Men Oh Tokushima Ramen is coming to Little Tokyo. Per this Craigslist post, the restaurant is now hiring servers and kitchen staff for lunch and dinner service.

With 12 locations in Japan and two in Northern California, Men Oh specializes in “Tokushima ramen,” which puts homemade noodles in a pork-bone-and-soy-sauce-based broth. Rich pork belly is offered as a topping in addition to chashu; if you'd rather have a raw egg to crack into your soup as opposed to one that is poached or soft-boiled, you can have that, too.

The restaurant's help-wanted ad notes a “mid-September opening,” though Men Oh told us that the date is looking more like early October. Which works just as well. Ramen as pre-apocalyptic food? You can do a lot worse.
