A 17-year-old boy gets an intimate lesson from a 31-year-old teacher who allegedly seduced him by saying he looks like Taylor Lautner from Twilight?

A couple generations ago that would have been called a quality education by any man within earshot. Even these days his friends probably said, Right on! But it's still a serious felony.

The Riverside County District Attorney's office wasn't joking around, either, when it threw the book at Janel Ramirez today:

The SoCal English teacher was hit with three felonies, including two counts of oral copulation on a juvenile under 18 and one count of unlawful intercourse with a minor, D.A.'s spokesman John Hall told the Weekly.

The victim was ID'd by the office only as a 17-year-old male student of hers.

According to the Riverside Press-Enterprise:

If you look like this, watch out for teacher.

If you look like this, watch out for teacher.

The student worked for Ramirez as a teacher's aide during his sophomore and junior years. The last day of his sophomore year, she told him he looked like Taylor Lautner from “Twilight” and kissed him, according to search warrant documents.

Wow.

She was arrested in connection with the case March 1 at a location in Hemet, according to Riverside County Sheriff's inmate data.

The Press-Enterprise says that location was the Hemet Unified School District headquarters.

Eek.

Ramirez, who has been free on $100,000 bail, is due in court Thursday at 8:30 a.m.
