71-Year-Old Female Passenger Pronounced Dead after Three-Vehicle Collision near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

WACO, TX (June 10, 2024) Jane Shwarz died Wednesday night in a 3-vehicle accident on Interstate 35 near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Police officers responded to the scene around 9:30 p.m., on May 15th.

Upon arrival, crews located a 1999 Ford F-150, a Freightliner, and a 2015 Hyundai Sonata.

The initial investigation revealed that the Ford collided with a wall, which caused the Freightliner to hit the Ford, and the Hyundai to crash into the back of both vehicles.

As a result of the collision, medics pronounced a passenger in the Hyundai, 71-year-old Shwarz, dead at the scene.

Currently, authorities have not released further details about the crash, and the investigation is still ongoing.
