Our other favorite Hollywood blogger (for when we're feeling less politically paranoid) has sniffed out the latest victim of racial profiling in L.A. County.

It was aight when the U.S. Department of Justice called out the LAPD for creating “a culture that is inimical to race-neutral policing” in November, but now that R&B stud Jamie Foxx is pulling the race card, we're at full attention.

He told ABC last week that officers patrolling Westlake aren't used to seeing black guys in his 'hood:

“I get pulled over all the time. I live in Westlake. A black man in Westlake? That just don't happen. I got pulled over the other day for being black and happy. 'What's all that smiling about? You're smiling back there.' I was guilty.”

And then when they see who it is, they're all — sorry for botherin' you, Mr. Denzel Sir — and our megapimp millionaire gets to go on his way and, you know, maintain a sense of humor about the whole thing.

The blogosphere is jazzed on this item today, pointing fingers at the LAPD for being so goddamn racist all the time — but don't even think about riding Foxx's celebrity cred all the way to court. Turns out he lives in Westlake Village, which is patrolled by the L.A. County Sheriffs Department, and maybe the few Ventura County deputies who spill over the line.

So direct your hot air at the sheriff — not city brass.

OK, LAPD, you can get back to tracking down illegal immigrants and fighting with Latino day-laborers in the real Westlake now, while Police Charlie Chief Charlie Beck launches into another triumphant round of Kumbaya.

As for you, Jamie: Stop repping Westlake and go back to your posh-ass suburban Village where you belong.
