Solo-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99 south Cohasset Road Left Elderly Woman Killed
CHICO, CA (December 20, 2021) – Police are investigating a car crash on Highway 99 in Chico that left Jamie Barletto dead Wednesday morning.
The fatal incident occurred around 11 am when a northbound 2010 Hyundai crashed into a concrete guardrail, south of Cohasset Road.
Afterwards, the vehicle continued left across the double yellow lines, hitting the guardrail in the center median.
Later on, the CHP identified the deceased female driver as 60-year-old Jamie Barletto.
Chico Officials continue to investigate the crash.
