Motorcyclist Killed in Deadly Collision on Canon Perdido Street

SANTA BARBARA, CA (January 19, 2022) – Friday morning, James Miller was killed in a motorcycle collision on Quarantina Street.

According to reports, Miller collided with a southbound BMW SUV at the intersection of East Canon Perdido and Quarantina Street.

Investigators say the driver of a BMW was heading south when they pulled into the intersection. Meanwhile, the motorcyclist was heading east when the two collided.

The impact ejected the rider 50 feet across the roadway, and left him with life-threatening injuries. First responders located Miller barely breathing and transported him to Cottage Hospital for further treatment.

However, 57-year-old Miller succumbed to his injuries two weeks after the incident.

At this time, Santa Barbara Officials continue to investigate the fatal motorcycle crash.
