60-Year-Old Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident near Eastern Avenue in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NV (May 11, 2021) – 60-year-old James Fleisher died Monday morning in a hit-and-run accident on Flamingo Road near Eastern Avenue.

The fatal crash happened just after 1:00 a.m., on May 3 at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Burnham Avenue.

According to officers, the Oceanside man was in a marked crosswalk on Flamingo Road when a westbound white Mercedes struck him.

Shortly after, the involved driver fled the scene of the accident.

Paramedics arrived and took the injured man to Sunrise Hospital. However, due to the extent of his condition, he died soon after arriving to the hospital.

Meanwhile, authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the hit-and-run driver and the Mercedes, which may have windshield damage.
