1 Killed in Off-Road Vehicle Crash in Jurupa Valley
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (June 15, 2021) – 21-year-old Jakob Villasenor lost his life Sunday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash on 20th Street.
The deadly crash happened around 4:30 p.m. on June 6, at the intersection of 20th Street and Market Street.
According to reports, a Honda Accord was traveling southbound on Rubidoux Boulevard towards Market Street when it collided with the off-road vehicle that was heading westbound on 20th street.
Paramedics took Villasenor, the driver of the off-road vehicle, to Riverside Community Hospital. There, he later died from his injuries.
Meanwhile, the Honda’s driver and passenger were unharmed.
Furthermore, officials closed off the intersection for several hours during the investigation.
At this time, Jurupa Valley Officers are conducting an active investigation of the accident.
