A Latina female who died from blunt force trauma on Monday, October 11, has been identified as Jade Rizo-Soto, according to the coroner. She sustained the injury at 414 South Virgil Avenue in Westlake.

Update: The coroner has determined that Rizo-Soto died from being stabbed the neck and face.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Rizo-Soto's apartment manager entered her apartment because neighbors complained that the water had been left on. There, he found the 41-year-old completely submerged in bathtub water. She was pronounced dead at 6:43 p.m.
