Lake Elsinore Crash Kills Motorcyclist

LAKE ELSINORE, CA (July 27, 2021) – Authorities are searching for the hit-and-run driver that claimed the life of Jacob Becerra on July 11.

The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m., at the intersection of El Toro Road and Sanderson Pass.

Per reports, the victim was riding a dirt bike when he was struck by a dark colored Toyota Tacoma pickup-truck. Witnesses say the truck was last seen heading west on El Toro Road towards Interstate 15.

The Cal Fire Riverside County Fire Department transported the motorcyclist to a hospital. However, 16-year-old Jacob Becerra succumbed to his injuries after 9 days in Inland Valley Medical Center.

At this time, no further information has been released. Lake Elsinore Officials are still currently investigating the fatal incident.
