66-Year-Old Man Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision on Civic Center Drive

VISTA, CA (September 7, 2022) – Friday afternoon, police arrested J Reyes Lozano Cortes after a hit-and-run on North Santa Fe Avenue.

The collision occurred shortly after 1:00 p.m., near Civic Center Drive.

Per reports, the driver of an Infiniti sedan lost control and went down an embankment after jumping off a curb near Wells Fargo. Afterward, the Infiniti driver struck a bus stop near North Santa Fe Avenue and Civic Center Drive.

Eventually, medical responders arrived and transported a 66-year-old man to a hospital for minor injuries.

Meanwhile, deputies managed to locate the Infiniti driver, 63-year-old J Reyes Lozano Cortes and booked him to Vista Detention Facility.
