Motorbike vs Vehicle Collision on Basque Avenue Left One Man Dead

FULLERTON, CA (March 10, 2022) – A suspected hit-and-run crash on Malvern Avenue claimed the life of Ivars Borsteins Thursday evening.

According to the police, the crash happened around 9:30 p.m. at Malvern and Basque Avenues.

Furthermore, the investigators said that they located Borsteins of Fullerton suffering from serious injuries and a modified mountain bike with an electric motor beside him.

Eventually, paramedics arrived and transported Borsteins to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, at this time, authorities are working to obtain a surveillance video of the crash.

Both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
