We're pleased to hear that a wildly successful Kickstarter campaign ensured that Cinefamily will have the digital projection equipment to comply with the latest arm-twisting from the big Hollywood studios. But the theater still celebrates the ephemeral with its monthly “Lost & Found Film Club” series, which showcases its impressive library of 16mm films. Hosted by Cinefamily programmers Brendt Rioux and Zena Grey, tonight's offerings include rare Muppets films produced by Jim Henson as entertainment for corporate get-togethers, an intervention film about cupcake addiction called Heavy Load, a motivational short for pizza delivery guys, and mother cats with baby skunks! Oh, and did we mention they're serving grilled cheese sandwiches?
