And you thought you were tired of those Echo Park kids in candy-colored sunglasses?
It turns out that the rest of America is sick of hipsters too, even as one out of every two U.S. voters ages 18 to 29 actually considers herself to be a hipster. Really:
The latest Public Policy Polling data shows that only 16 percent of American voters have a favorable view of hipsters.
According to the PPP:
— About 42 percent have an unfavorable opinion, and 43 percent say they aren't sure. Nearly half (48 percent) of Republicans don't like hipsters, which shows you how hip that party is.

— Nearly every Republican voter polled, or 98 percent, said they would not be likely to vote for a candidate they viewed as a hipster. (!!!). Sorry, Eric Garcetti.

— Only one in 10 of us admit to being a hipster, but that rate goes up to 50 percent when the 18-29 group is isolated.
— Nearly half (46 percent) of stateside voters agreed that hipsters “soullessly appropriate cultural tropes from the past for their own ironic amusement.”
— More than 1 in 4 of you (27 percent) said hipsters should somehow be subject to a special tax “for being so annoying.”
If you ask us, such a tax would have to be doubled in Silver Lake, Echo Park and downtown L.A.
