Hosting a good Super Bowl party is always a fun challenge. Creating an appealing atmosphere for both the avid football fans and the not so avid football fans is where the real talent kicks in.
Now obviously, with a pandemic on our hands, our dreams of throwing a legendary Super Bowl party are a bit far-fetched – but not impossible. Adding some fun (and delicious) elements to your event will make the big game enjoyable no matter how small the crowd.
Beer – What’s a Super Bowl party without beer? Some days call for wine, and some call for cocktails – but beer is most popular when it comes to this event. After all, there’s nothing more American than enjoying good beer while watching football. I always make sure to stock up some of my favorite: Big Swell IPA (Maui Brewing Co.)
For the guests that don’t want the calories of beer, or just simply don’t prefer the taste, hard drinks are here to please. Hard seltzers and drinks have become insanely popular in the last few years, and are now a staple at any occasion. Fetch Premium Cocktails are all-natural canned cocktails crafted with premium spirits and hints of your favorite fruits. My favorite of the choices, the “We Wear Pink Cranberry” is a twist on the famous vodka cranberry.
Whether your guests come to watch the game, eat the food or just to watch the halftime performance, everyone can get in on the fun with some Super Bowl party games. Games like “Field Goal Ring Toss,” “Cornhole” and “Pin the Football on the Wall” are enjoyable for everyone, and keep the kids entertained as well.
Barbeque – Nothing screams Super Bowl party like some good old-fashioned barbeque! Juicy burgers and wings are always a personal party favorite of mine – but finding quality and delicious meats to serve at your bash is sometimes more difficult than you would hope for. “Meat District” (eatmeatdistrict.com) offers top-notch premium meats that can be delivered overnight straight to your door. Yep, you read that right! Whether it be burgers, tri tip, sausages, wings or pork tenderloin, their ready-to-go options make it so much easier to feed your crowd.
Chips & Dip
No Super Bowl party is complete without chips and dip. The classic potato chip never fails when paired with an easy homemade onion dip.
