Interwoven Studios Opens Third Studio Concept and Sets Sights on More

A New Standard in Downtown LA

Footsteps from Downtown Los Angeles’ historic corridor and famous jewelry district, where the pulse of the city’s creativity beats strongest, Interwoven Studios has quietly opened its newest creative studio: INTERWOVEN STUDIOS | DOWNTOWN LA.

Adding to its existing portfolio of studio locations (in Miracle Mile and in Culver City), Interwoven’s new, boutique concept in DTLA is poised to redefine the narrative surrounding downtown’s existing crop of production spaces.

In contrast to other studio options in the area, which have garnered a negative reputation due to poor management and upkeep, Interwoven Studios is transforming the narrative downtown with their new space.

The recently launched studio offers creative groups with top-notch production facilities, premium client services, and thoughtful production-oriented amenities.

“We hold ourselves and our brand to a very high level. We feel the new studio in downtown will quickly become known as the nicest, new photo space in that area,” Interwoven co-founder Chance Horky shared.

Building a Community Around the Downtown Studio

Since its soft opening in April, the Interwoven DTLA studio has quietly hosted a collection of creatives, artists and projects that will lay the foundations of a new creative community.

From local photography duo Phil Chester & Sara Byrne, to up-and-coming photographers Emily Eizen and Justin Ayers, and to powerhouse creative group July Holdings, led by photographer/creative director Tommy Nowels, the Interwoven DTLA studio space is welcoming in a familiar family of next-gen creatives who know Interwoven’s brand from the company’s prior two projects in Culver City and Miracle Mile.

With the downtown studio, Interwoven will provide guests with two unique, private studio spaces: the “Pre-Lit White Cyc” and the “Lavender Loft.” The studio will also feature a collection of diverse shooting space, several green rooms and vanity spaces, a conference area and kitchen spaces too.

The downtown studio will also provide membership opportunities for local creatives, photographers, artists and co-op groups who value fresh, clean and safe environments with reliable concierge-style service and support.

Already Looking Ahead

As Interwoven works to stabilize this recent expansion into downtown LA, the company is showing no signs of slowing and is already looking ahead to more.

In conversations about the company’s next chapter, co-founder Harrison Sheinberg divulged exciting plans to enter the grip, lighting, and rentals business.

“We want to expand into grip, lighting and rentals because we see it as a great way to build on our existing relationships with clients,” Sheinberg said.

“We believe we’ll be able to take the Interwoven brand name and expand it to provide a more comprehensive service to our clients. We want to be there for our partners, and supporting them within grip, lighting and rentals seems like a great new avenue to do that,” he went on.

Interwoven’s expansion into grip, lighting and rentals is scheduled to take place this summer.
