LA Weekly: Hi Sarah, can you introduce you to LA Weekly?

Sarah Kpossa: My name is Sarah Kpossa, I am 17. Moroccan from my mother, half Central Africa and half Reunion Island from my father. I am from Strasbourg in France.

Can you tell us about your background? How did you get into modeling, how you build your name as a Instagram Influencer and why?

SK: I am in high school studying business, and I wish to continue after that. Modeling came into my life quite recently. I started posting photos on Instagram and got good feedback from my community. Then I was spotted by Chance my manager who saw some potential in me. We have started to work together with the first positive results. I then discovered a passion for modeling.

Which brands have you already collaborated with?

SK: I have worked with several brands like CHANCE PARIS, Sixth June, Pretty Little Thing, Project X Paris, Baby Boo Fashion and many more.

We saw you on a Times Square billboard in New York City. It’s impressive! Can you tell us more about this?

SK: Yes, this is amazing I can’t believe this is happening. My manager used to live in New York, and he made some good contact. He talked about me and what I am doing, and they loved my story, and then this happened. Most of my followers come from New York it seems like a good thing to promote myself to the city that never sleeps. This is something me and my family are really proud of, and I hope the people seeing this are liking it. I hope to come soon to the big apple.

You are also a basketball player. What role does sport play in your life?

SK: Yes, I play basketball since I’m 6. Currently, I play in regional D1. But I am also an official departmental referee, which I really like! Sport plays an important role in my life. It is a family affair that is passed from father to daughter. My father is a coach and gave me his drive to be a player. My siblings also play. Sport is, in my opinion, very important in everyday life to keep in good physical condition and let off steam.

What can we expect from Sarah?

SK: I am willing to make it into business, so I am launching KPOSSA BEAUTY, my cosmetic brand so stay tuned. Also, my manager has a luxury clothing brand, and we are going to prepare my collection. I have a lot of projects in the move so follow me to see how it is going.

A word for your followers?

SK: To all my followers thank you so much for your support. You have been with me from the beginning, and I hope you are enjoying the way I am evolving. You are the best and I love you all.
