Almost 50,000 people converged on the Los Angeles Convention center to attend gaming convention E3 on June 16th, 17th and 18th. The most famous industry-only con in the world, E3 has another 70 million gamers logging in to watch online. Lines for some of the most popular games (Star Wars Battlefront, StarFox Zero, Rise of the Tomb Raider) reached several hours in length, and the most anticipated virtual reality games, Oculus Rift's, virtual line was full for all three days. VR took over the E3 show with offerings from Microsoft and Sony, as well as several other lesser known companies touting their VR experiences. Most of the games shown aren't coming out until mid-September 2015 at the earlies,t but at least at E3, we can watch and dream.
