23-Year-Old Cyclist Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run Collision near 43rd Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 7, 2023) – Late Thursday night, Inmer Samuel Cruz was fatally struck in a hit-and-run bicycle accident on Main Street.
The incident happened on April 13th, at around 10:30 p.m. near 43rd Street and Main Street.
According to reports, the driver of a silver southbound 2008-2013 Mercedes Benz C230 or C330 struck a cyclist that was heading west on Main Street.
Following the collision, the driver that struck Cruz did not stop to render aid to the victim. Instead, he fled southbound.
Medical personnel arrived and transported Cruz to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Later, at the hospital, officials pronounced 23-year-old Inmer Samuel Cruz dead due to the extent of his condition.
Following the events, the police released a $50,000 reward for those with information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
