Two Crashes on Highway 99 and Madera Avenue Resulted in Major Injuries

MADERA, CA (August 2, 2022) – Tuesday morning, two crashes on Highway 99 and Madera Avenue resulted in injuries, CHP reported.

According to the police, officers responded to the first accident around 1:45 a.m., when the second collision occurred.

Meanwhile, investigators at the scene said the collision involved at least two vehicles and a big rig.

Responding officials reported major injuries from the incident, although the identities of those involved in the crash have not been disclosed.

Furthermore, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

At this time, the area of Highway 99 and Madera Avenue are now open to traffic.

Madera Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the two crashes on Highway 99.
