Head-On Collision near Linda Mar Boulevard in Pacifica

PACIFICA, CA (October 29, 2021) The road near Pacifica has reopened following a head-on crash on Highway 1, last Thursday morning.

Around 11:30 a.m., a white SUV collided with a garbage truck between Linda Mar Boulevard and the Tom Lantos Tunnels, blocking both northbound and southbound lanes.

The circumstances of the head-on crash were not immediately known. In addition, the condition of the SUV driver was not made available. However, California Highway Patrol stated that the head-on crash resulted in “severe injuries.”

Additional information will be posted as it is made available to the public.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further details is still currently underway.
