SAN MATEO, CA (July 29, 2022) – Early Monday morning, a semi-truck crash on San Mateo Hayward Bridge resulted in injuries.

The collision happened on July 11th, around 6:20 a.m., on the Hayward Bridge in San Mateo.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident involved a big-rig and at least one other vehicle. The crash blocked the westbound lanes of the bridge for hours, before being fully reopened at around 10:15 a.m.
