Big Rig Crash on 91 Freeway Left Several Injured

CERRITOS, CA (November 10, 2021) – A big rig crash on 91 Freeway resulted to minor injuries Saturday morning.

At 9:09 a.m., the crash happened after the big rig apparently collided with a gray Toyota Camry, and lost control.

Consequently, it went off the Riverside (91) Freeway, hitting the front of a building at the Aria Apartment Homes, authorities said.

According to reports, the driver of big rig lost control on the Riverside Freeway at Bloomfield Avenue.

Eventually, the big rig crashed into an apartment building.

Moreover, injuries caused by the crash were minor enough to avoid hospitalization, according to reports.

Around 10:05 a.m., lanes 3 and 4 of the eastbound Riverside Freeway at Bloomfield shut down as responders cleared the scene.

The lanes reopened by 8:15 p.m.
