Traffic Accident on Highway 1 near College Cuesta Resulted in Injuries

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (October 17, 2022) – Monday afternoon, injuries were reported after a rollover accident on Highway 1.

The incident happened around 12:48 p.m. along the southbound lanes near Education Drive.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involves two vehicles; however, the circumstances surrounding the impact remain unclear.

Officers said that one of the vehicles flipped several times due to the impact of the collision. At this time, the total number of parties involved and their identities remain undisclosed to the public.

Afterward, authorities closed down the area of the road surrounding the crash for cleanup and preliminary duties.
