Inglewood skinny pants-rap duo U-N-I have their own designer brim, available now courtesy of the Bay Area-based Hella Tight Hats. Last night, Inglewood rapper Thurzday announced the news via Twitter, subsequently sharing that the first two sales went to Australia, then Hawaii. That's a pretty wide sphere of influence, but the hat itself is stacked with local sports significance — gold writing on a purple backdrop shouting out The Lakers, of course, and the words themselves bringing our sad little hockey team to mind.

law logo2x bOf course, “Land of the Kings” is U-N-I's most recent single, a genre-muddling slice of po-mo hipster rap if there ever was one (that's an endorsement), which you can witness in video form below, then download as an MP3 below that.

The hat itself retails at a steep $35, though we're told that if you're into that sort of thing, that's a decent deal. Hella Tight has also made hats designed/inspired by Kanye West and Bay Area legend Mac Dre.
