For 25 years, In the Red Records has provided a vital home for what founder Larry Hardy once summed up as “eccentric rock & roll.” Now, the L.A.-based label that has helped launch such past and present garage, punk and psych-rock luminaries as The Gories, The Dirtbombs, Black Lips, Jay Reatard, Thee Oh Sees, Vivian Girls and Ty Segall is celebrating its silver anniversary with a three-day blowout at the Echo and Echoplex, which promises to be one the summer's best rock events.

In the Red mainstay Ty Segall headlines with his frequent collaborator Mikal Cronin, performing their 2009 LP, Reverse Shark Attack. Also on the bill: The first live appearance by Segall/Charles Moothart/Chris Shaw project GØGGS, '80s garage-punk pioneers The Gories, Jon Spencer and Cristina Martinez's Boss Hog, guitar legend Kid Congo and his band The Pink Monkey Birds, and local favorites Wand, Meatbodies and CFM.

It all goes down at the Echo and Echoplex July 14, 15 and 16. Check the flier below for the full lineup so far, but expect more bands to be announced. There also likely will be some surprise guests and special collaborations.

Three-day passes to In the Red's 25th Anniversary go on sale today at 10 a.m. via Ticketfly.
