If maintaining freshness is a problem for you, Kay Sedia is here to help. Looking like a south-of-the-border Snooki, the Tijuana-born drag queen has a passion for plastic — the Tupperware kind, that is. When not fighting imaginary crime on the Web series she co-created, Chico's Angels, Kay Sedia (real, inedible name Oscar Quintera) moonlights as a Tupperware party hostess, infusing her gatherings with songs and randy humor. Benefiting the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, Kay Sedia's Holiday Tupperware Fiesta! will transform the center's Renberg Theater into a mercado filled with tortilla warmers, cold-cut keepers, salad spinners and maybe a donkey or two. With Christmas fast approaching, you're going to need a place to store that fruitcake before you're allowed to toss it, so why not buy your containers from an expert who's “one of the top two Tupperware sellers in the whole U.S.A.”? And that's an airtight fact. L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's Renberg Theater, 1125 McCadden Place, Hlywd.; Sat., Dec. 10, 7 p.m.; free. (323) 993-7400.

Sat., Dec. 10, 7 p.m., 2011
