Patrick Jackson added an extra floor to François Ghebaly's former auto-shop gallery for his show, “The Third Floor.” The third floor is, unexpectedly, the lowest one — you enter to see an unwieldy black box-within-a-box sculpture on the ground level, then head down stairs, where there's now an opening, which starts a few steps down, cut into the carpeted floor. Descend the rest of the way and you're in what looks like a crawl space, with lights on the ceiling and oversized ceramic cups and pots scattered throughout. They look weather-worn and fungus-infected, like ruins from a giant's kitchen cupboard. 2600 S. La Cienega Blvd., Culver City; through Aug. 10. (310) 280-0777, ghebaly.com.

Tuesdays-Saturdays. Starts: Nov. 9. Continues through Dec. 21, 2013
