The red carpet on all fours? Of course, if it's the ReelDog Film Fest, what else would you expect? Pets Are Wonderful Support, Los Angeles (PAWS, LA) hosts its annual gala at the Cheviot Hills Recreation Center. Carry your pet to a cinematic celebration of 60-minutes of canine-themed short films. In the lineup are Dog Park Phenomenon, by indie-film writer/director Matt Koval; Whose Dog Is It Anyway (pictured) by Golden Globe/Emmy winner Cindy Chupack, among others. The movies that get the most barks, growls (of approval) and claps will vie for the much-coveted Paw d'Or. Pack a picnic dinner and some blankets to keep warm. There are also free popcorn and canine-themed products (doggy designer beds, we've heard!) to enjoy. Spend some quality time with your pet, under the stars, before summer slips away. Hearty licks, guaranteed!
