Art cars and dance music are what one would find at Burning Man, the annual gathering in the Nevada desert. Over the June 2-3 weekend, the giant mutant vehicles found a new place to be admired, trading in the dusty playa for the concrete, grass and skyscrapers of Pershing Square. A brilliant display of art, combined with the sounds of legendary Los Angeles underground DJs, enticed a diverse and colorful crowd of all ages.
