When New York’s most joyous and jovial eve of rhythmic music — Body & Soul — joins forces with L.A.’s premier house happening, a.k.a. Deep, you know it’s gonna be a delightful dance experience. What makes both of these long-running nights special — other than the hypnotic sounds of their skilled DJs — are the vibes. Both clubs are known for their positive energy, places where you’re just as likely to make a friend as you are a freak partner. Body & Soul aims to be like a party at a ’70s pad that got too big for the pad. Of course, the celebratory vibe wouldn’t happen so easily without the blissful electronic grooves of the club’s turntablists: Joe Claussell, Francois K and Danny Krivit, all of whom will be on hand for the union, along with Deep’s own Marques Wyatt. Get ready to feel good, people. Vanguard, 6021 Hollywood Blvd., Hlwyd.; Sun., June 10, 7 p.m.-4 a.m. See www.deep-la.com for ticket info.
