Victim of Two-Vehicle Crash on Acton, Identified

ACTON, CA (August 4, 2021) – Authorities identified Humberto Balderrama as the victim of a two-vehicle traffic collision Friday.

Officers responded to the fatal incident around 1:15 A.M. at State Route 14 North and the Ward Road on-ramp near Acton.

Upon arrival, the responding officers found one of the involved vehicles overturned and another car crashed about 100 feet up an embankment.

However, the factors surrounding the collision and the total number of casualties remains unclear.

On Sunday, July 26, the coroner’s office identified the victim as 48-year-old Humberto Balderrama of California City.

Due to the still unknown circumstances of the crash, Authorities will continue to investigate.
