33-Year-Old Man Killed in Traffic Accident on 13th Street

PEARBLOSSOM, CA (April 18, 2022) – Monday evening, 33-year-old Hugh Desbas died in a pedestrian crash on Highway 138.

The incident occurred on April 4th, along Highway 138, just west of 13th Street East.

According to the authorities, the events leading up to the collision are still unknown. However, emergency crews located the pedestrian dead at the scene.

Eventually, officials identified the deceased victim as 33-year-old Desbas.

Investigators have not released any further information about the suspect driver and the vehicle. At this time, authorities are asking any witnesses of the collision to reach them at their local offices.

Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. Pearblossom police continue to investigate the crash and release further updates once available.
