With the country starting to open and trying to get back to some normalcy, our beloved pets will start to see less of us.  Your pet may experience some sort of separation anxiousness as you spend less time at home.  Being alone is not always easy for our pets but making them comfortable can help ease tension they may feel.

Here is a quick checklist before you go out:

  • Give your pet some extra love before leaving
  • Positively reinforce being left alone by offering treats (or whatever you use to reward good behavior)
  • Leave out comforting items such as toys and blankets
  • Eliminate objects they can destroy
  • Give them a dose of King Kalm CBD so they can relax and remain calm

For those who are still in quarantine there are several things you can do to keep your pet occupied at home.  Dogs love a challenge.  The perfect way to engage your pet both physically and mentally is to get them a long-lasting chew toy or bone.  Fresh air is good for both you and your pet, so take them outside!  Try to take short 10-minute breaks to walk or play every few hours.  Giving your dog King Kalm CBD may help relieve your pet’s anxiousness and restlessness without losing their playful personality.

No matter what situation you are in, making your pets lives easier and happier is every pet ‘s parents dream.

Not all CBD is the same.  There are different types of raw CBD material as well as different components on what to suspend the CBD in.  For example, King Kanine suspends their 75mg, 150mg and 300mg oils in high quality Krill oil and their 600mg oil is made with DHA and Copaiba.  Krill, DHA and Copaiba are all vital for pets to have in their diet which makes King Kanine the gold standard.  Of course, pet owners want the best quality,  ingredients and benefits for their pets. With so much confusing information out there, how can the pet parent distinguish whether the CBD oil is high quality or not?  Since the CBD Industry is not yet Government regulated for humans or pets, there are some things to consider when searching for the safest and most effective products on the market.

Where the CBD is manufactured matters.  Not only is it important to get CBD from US farms, it is just as vital that your pets CBD is manufactured in a reputable facility.  King Kanine  manufactures in a GMP Certified, ISO-90001 Certified FDA Facility.   Also, read the packaging and do your research.

How CBD is processed matters. Industry accepted safe methods include carbon dioxide and cold press extraction. There are some companies that use potentially toxic solvents, like propane or butane.  These might be cheaper for the manufacturer but is certainly not advantageous to your pet’s wellbeing.

Independent testing matters. Look for companies that independently test their products and provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA) at least on their website. Not only general testing but what they are testing for is especially important.  Some companies provide test results just for CBD content in the products.  The proper testing should include Microbiology, Pesticide, Mycotoxin, Residual Solvent, Heavy Metals and more. King Kanine has taken third party testing to the next level by putting a QR code on each box.  The QR code will direct the consumer to lab results right from the packaging.   All King Kalm oils  are organic and are free of pesticides and solvents.

THC potency matters.  Make sure to review each product for its THC content. Some products are made from Cannabis which contain higher levels of THC, which could be harmful to your pet. All King Kanine products are made from Hemp which contains minute amounts of THC.  Look for products with less than 0.3% THC to make sure no harmful amounts of THC can adversely affect your pet.
