Social media has become an indispensable part of everyone’s lives. It has changed our lifestyles and work cultures in several ways, from discovering new ideas to learning about trends and even connecting for business and work. Thanks to the growing popularity of social media platforms, we now have numerous career options apart from slogging away at a 9 to 5 desk job. 22-year-old entrepreneur JK Molina is proof of this. He scaled up his career from a door-to-door job to start monetizing his presence on social media, making a staggering 5-figures every month. His story inspires people to move out of their traditional careers to develop a source of income pursuing their passion so they don’t have to work a single day in their lives.

JK started his journey just like any other aspiring talent in a third-world country. In 2017 he entered entrepreneurship selling perfumes door-to-door. Although the job was not fulfilling, JK managed to save enough money to enroll in a business coaching class. While he worked during the day, JK attended tutorial classes in the evening to learn about more business opportunities and grow his skills. During this coaching, JK met a more experienced colleague and started learning several aspects of business from him.

In 2020, JK decided to delve deeper into the realm of digital media, so he joined a digital marketing agency that exclusively served clients in the real estate industry. Unfortunately, JK was fired from this job after making a mistake, but that did not end his career in digital media. By then, JK had already developed a good relationship with the CEO of the digital marketing agency, who offered for him to work as a virtual assistant, and JK agreed. Through this new job, he discovered Twitter and was amazed to see so many people making millions just from Twitter posts.

JK noticed the difference in his income, which was a few hundred dollars, and someone else who was making an impressive 6 figures from Twitter. He delved deeper to learn how he could follow in their footsteps. He saw famous brands with hundreds and thousands of followers on Twitter, paying people to get them likes and more engagements on their posts. That’s when JK found a goal and started chasing it.

After investing a few months into improving his Twitter account, talking about mindset and self-improvement, JK gained a whopping 50K follower base. By that time, he was already making $30K a month. JK then noticed an accountant with only 900 followers was making the same amount of money from Twitter. That’s when he realized a large following does not necessarily equate to financial success but rather the offer provided to the audience. He began working harder while also continuing to learn about social media.

After developing a successful audience base, JK partnered with tech-savvy entrepreneurs Thibault and Thomas. They developed TweetHunter, a platform for automating Twitter growth and posting. JK’s social media reach and large following helped TweetHunter gain traction. With this success, JK exited the company earlier this year for a seven-figure payout for his share. Now he has been promoted to the position of co-founder for his expertise and audience base.

JK never set goals for himself. Instead, he accepts challenges as they come and overcomes them to move forward. He enjoys working 10 hours every day because it doesn’t feel like work to him. JK Molina wants other social media lovers to quit their jobs and pursue careers in something they are passionate about. He wants to help more people make a living by growing their social media profiles the way he did in just a couple of years.
