In Manhattan, on Canal Street, Little Italy, there’s a Jeweller changing the game – one custom piece at a time. We’re talking flipped Rolex’s, diamond encrusted chains, engagement rings with rocks big enough to weigh down hands.

Self-professed ‘masters in custom orders’, Vladdy’s Diamonds is the new face on the block – except they’ve been around for a minute.

Started by Vladdy Aminov, who immigrated to Brooklyn from Russia when he was 8 years old, Vladdy’s Diamonds has been serving up the finest quality custom pieces since 1998. With over 20 years under his belt, and a celebrity clientele including names like Cardi B, Shallow Shaq and Jadakiss, it’s safe to say Vladdy knows what he is doing.

Recognised for his high grade, high quality jewellery, diamonds & high end watches at competitive prices, Vladdy takes care to serve his customers the best. His custom pieces sit next to a handpicked selection of local and international items, making his New York location a one-stop shop for it’s growing customer base.

When asked about his success and where he is headed next, Vladdy thanks God and praises his humble roots.

“I promised myself no matter how high I reach the top I will always stay true, stay humble, and continue to stay honest. I treat my clients as family and maintain long lasting friendships which they share with the world.”

His advice to anyone wanting to start a business is to treat it like a baby. “ You need to nurture, feed and be there. With time it will mature. Keep track of finances, monitor trends & marketing is a must.”

Jeweller’s like Vladdy’s Diamonds account for the majority of the Jewellers in the US. A family-orientated mentality and focus on workmanship enables businesses like his to constantly challenge larger manufacturers like Tiffany & Co and Cartier for market share.

With plans on expanding his flagship location in New York and moving into other states, we’re excited to see what Vladdy does next.
