Did your invitation to Vanity Fair's Oscar party get lost in the mail? Mine, too. And if you'd rather not watch the awards like a sloth on your couch or in some bar, you can doll yourself up for the red-carpet treatment at MEND'S Oscar Night America Gala. MEND, which stands for “meet each need with dignity,” provides much-needed care for the homeless and is the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences' only official Oscar-night charity. The bash starts with you arriving on the red carpet for cocktails, followed by the telecast of the 83rd annual Academy Awards and “elegant edibles.” You're encouraged to dress as your favorite star and test your movie knowledge with Oscar trivia.
