“Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today.”
 Malcolm X

When individuals want to study and do not have the means to pursue their dreams, there are people that look out for them. One such individual is Mike Moradian, who helped found the Honor Society Foundation as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the United States to support students who cannot afford education by offering them scholarships and educational programming. Honor Society Foundation focuses on high-achievers that are unable to pay their college and university fees and helps them accomplish their goals. It is not easy helping others if you do not have a kind heart and multifaceted personality. Philanthropy and compassion go hand in hand when helping individuals attain their vision. When individuals decide to pursue education, they tend to have a career in mind, whether a doctor, engineer, writer, or artist. When the Honor Society Foundation offers scholarships, they look at intellect and the confidence with which students present themselves.

Changing countless lives

“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.”
 George Bernard Shaw

When people have the thirst to achieve, they can move mountains, and the Honor Society Foundation helps those driven to make their dreams concrete. Being generous is a quality that not many possess, as it requires immense amounts of self-assurance and contentment. When a person decides to change their life by picking education, they consciously work to build a better future. Education is a tool that remains with a person, and no one can steal it for them. Also, education can never be measured as you can consume as much information as you want, but you will still have knowledge to consume. Honor Society Foundation has been a pillar of strength for all those students who are underprivileged and cannot afford education by themselves. As the world begins to accept the new normal post-pandemic, it has become increasingly difficult for students to perform and concentrate.

COVID-19 has halted lives and made education completely online, and only recently has it become hybrid where physical plus online modes of teaching commenced. Honor Society Foundation has been vigilant in supporting students to make the process as easy as possible for them. When the pandemic hit, there were few means to encourage students as life became unpredictable and unbalanced. There were times when people felt completely helpless, yet the Honor Society Foundation has been steadfast in supporting students in continuing their education. Many people have precariously fought with their mental health, making studying difficult and making students unable to concentrate. Honor Society Foundation with all its might, has played its part in facilitating and supporting the students in each and every capacity.

Education as a powerful tool

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
 Nelson Mandela

As people decide to empower themselves with education, they tend to change the world as they positively affect their environment. As a person becomes educated, they tend to practice patience and develop their analytical and critical skills. As students have education by their side, they tend to think before they speak and pick their opinion from the vast knowledge instilled within them. Being empowered with education is a tool that is reserved for the privileged, yet the Honor Society Foundation wants to change that element and omit the social divide. Education for all is what makes society thrive. In some cases, people from compromised backgrounds do not have access to education or get limited knowledge due to certain setbacks. It is imperative to remember that education is a right, and it must be utilized.

Honor Society Foundation has been working tirelessly to provide opportunities to students who want to pursue their passion yet somehow are restricted due to their financial constraints.  When students want to complete their higher education and develop intellectual abilities, they tend to get overshadowed because of their background. It is crucial to remember that each individual has the right to pursue their educational dreams. Whether a person wants to be an architect, a pilot, or an astronaut, they should not be constrained because there is a lack of funds. Honor Society Foundation has been a ray of hope for all high-achieving students who want to tread on the path of success and victory. As the world came to a standstill due to the pandemic, the future seemed uncertain, yet the Honor Society Foundation remained unaffected and optimistic.

Designing a better future

“Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or your self-confidence.”
 Robert Frost

The goal of the Honor Society Foundation is to build a community of individuals who have a collective goal to inspire each other and spread the power of knowledge. When students begin to encourage each other and collaborate to transform society as a whole, they will build their future and that of the coming generation. Honor Society Foundation has been putting all its efforts into supporting students who feel overwhelmed and worrisome over their future. The pandemic has made situations unpredictable and made morale low as there was no chance of physical university life the past year. With the pandemic restraining students from doing social activities or pursuing sports, there was little that could be done from the constraints of their homes.

The Honor Society Foundation has been immaculate in pursing students to stay motivated and keep applying for scholarships as it will ease the burden. When people decide to help others, they tend to begin a cycle of change that manifests into a transformation. Slowly and steadily, Moradian has been impeccable in ensuring that the Honor Society Foundation thrives and collects donations for students who want to pursue university. Even with the world giving curveballs, Moradian and his team have made the Honor Society Foundation an example of resilience, strength, and viability.
