Homeboy Industries, a non-profit gang intervention group, will open its newest eatery, Homebody Diner, on Thursday — this one inside City Hall.

Founded by Father Greg Boyle in 1992, the organization already runs the semi-successful Homegirl Café near Chinatown and has, in the past year or so, branched out to sell their line of tortilla chips and salsa in supermarkets. (They were even aiming for a concession at LAX.) Doors at Homeboy Diner open on Thursday, June 9th at 10 a.m.

Where: 200 N. Spring St., Los Angeles, CA 90012.
