A strange home-invasion robbery unfolded over the weekend in a tony part of Woodland hills, on Mulholland Drive, at a home that might or might not be connected to Sean “P. Diddy” Combs.

It was reported about 2 a.m. Sunday at 22146 Mulholland Dr., said Los Angeles police Sgt. Pablo Monterrosa of the Topanga Station. Two men and two women allegedly showed up at a party organized by four women and attended by at least four others and robbed the victims, pistol whipping two of the females. One of the victims was hospitalized.

A news crew at the scene reported that the large home was owned by a record label connected to Sean “P. Diddy” Combs. He founded Bad Boy Records, home to may top rappers, but it's not clear if that's the company in question.

In a twist, a man identified only as a rapper by Fox 11 News was seen running from the home and onto a neighbor's property Sunday afternoon, leaving luggage behind as he ran. That incident prompted a strong police response. The station reported that the man thought he might have seen one of the robbers from that morning and decided to flee.

The home was also reported to have once belonged to actor John Stamos.

The robbers got away with cash and jewelry, police said.
