A teenager and a 26-year-old were under arrest for a party bus shooting over the weekend that took the life 23-year-old Travius Shearer and left a 19-yet-old in critical condition, police said.

The shocking attack on Sunset Boulevard near El Centro Avenue unfolded about 11:40 p.m. Friday as a party bus from Compton stopped at Gower Gulch shopping center near the Palladium so that some passengers could use the restroom, according to police and reports:

The victims might have been involved in a fight with the shooters, police said previously. Some reports indicated the fracas was gang-related.

We called for detectives and asked a police spokeswoman about that but could get no further info.

The LAPD identified the 26-year-old suspect as Deondie Wilson of Lynwood. The 17-year-old was not ID'd because he is underage.

Reports stated that passengers were reboarding when an argument erupted and several shots were fired. Police said Travius Shearer was struck and died at a hospital. An unidentified 19-year-old who was also hit was hospitalized in critical condition, cops said.

It all reportedly happened as a concert was letting out at the Palladium, leading to a tense, chaotic situation.

Detectives were still looking for witnesses, of which there appeared to be many. If you saw it call detectives at 213-382-9470.
